Northwestern University’s Dr. Jagotamoy Das Delivers Talk on Nanomaterials-Based Biosensors at SUST

On July 8, 2026, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology hosted an inspiring international academic session focused on the rapidly growing field of nano-bio-technology. Organized by the School of Life Sciences and the BioNanoSense Lab, and supported by the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, the event brought together students, researchers, and faculty members in Academic Building E.

The highlight of the session was a special lecture by Dr. Jagotamoy Das, a renowned Research Associate Professor from the Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University, USA. Visiting SUST, Dr. Das delivered an engaging talk specifically focusing on "Nanomaterials-Based Biosensors," an area where he has achieved widespread international recognition.
